Pre-meeting briefs are the core of Dana, and we made them significantly better this month.
  • Upgraded AI model behind every brief, making them more accurate, more concise, and better at surfacing what actually matters before a meeting.
  • Manual brief editing so you can fix details, add context, or personalize talking points. Dana clearly tracks what you’ve edited vs. what was generated, so there’s always full transparency.
  • Smarter citation badges now show the source’s logo and domain, making every insight easier to trust at a glance.

Getting a brief out of Dana is now just as easy as opening one. Copy any full brief with a single click and paste it wherever you work: emails, docs, chat threads, or your preferred AI tool.

The hardest part of meeting prep is remembering to do it before the call starts.

With the Dana Chrome extension installed, you’ll now see a “View Pre-Meeting Brief” button in the Google Meet lobby, giving you instant access to your brief before joining a call. One click, full context, right when you need it.

Built-in brief feedback

We’ve added a feedback workflow directly inside every brief. Thumbs up submits instantly. Thumbs down opens a short feedback field so you can tell us exactly what was off.

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Added an “Open this brief in Dana” link to every brief email so you can jump straight to the full brief in one click.
  • Improved how citation icons look in brief emails so you can quickly tell where each insight came from.
  • Fixed a bug where certain meeting titles could prevent brief emails from being delivered.
  • Fixed a privacy issue where contacts could appear across workspaces they weren’t supposed to.
  • Fixed how Dana handles recurring meetings that share the same Google Meet link, so you always get the brief for the right session.
  • Fixed a number of small issues across emails, briefs, and citations to keep things running smoothly.
  • Added status badges to your integrations page so you can quickly see what’s connected and what needs attention.
  • Added a “Contact us” option so you can request integrations we don’t support yet.
  • Improved onboarding so new users can see and manage their connected accounts right from the start.
  • Refreshed the settings pages for a cleaner, more consistent look across Profile, Workspace, and Connected Accounts.
