Email is a core integration — it’s where most of your relationship history lives. Connecting email lets Dana surface the most relevant exchanges in every brief.

Supported email providers

  • Gmail (Google Workspace or personal Gmail)
  • Microsoft Outlook (Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com) [TODO: confirm support]

Connecting email

Email is connected during signup. To check or manage it:

Open Dana settings

Click your profile and go to Settings → Integrations.

Check email status

Email appears in your core integrations. It should show Connected.

Reconnect if needed

Click Reconnect if your email has disconnected.

What flows into your briefs

Once connected, Dana surfaces in every brief:
  • Recent email exchanges with each attendee
  • Relevant threads based on the meeting topic
  • Date attribution showing exactly when each exchange happened — no more repeated or misattributed facts
All email content appears as citations in your brief, linking back to the original thread.

Privacy

Dana reads your email to generate briefs but never sends or modifies messages. We don’t store full email content beyond what’s needed to surface relevant context. See privacy docs for details.
