LinkedIn is a core integration — it gives Dana professional context about every person you meet: their role, company, background, and recent activity.

Connecting LinkedIn

1

Open Dana settings

Click your profile and go to Settings → Integrations.
2

Find LinkedIn under core integrations

Click Connect next to LinkedIn.
3

Authorize Dana

You’ll be redirected to LinkedIn to authorize access. [TODO: confirm exact auth flow with eng]
4

You're done

LinkedIn will show as Connected in your integrations list.

What flows into your briefs

Once connected, Dana surfaces in every brief:
  • Attendee profiles — current role, company, location
  • Career background — past roles and tenure
  • Recent activity — recent posts or job changes [TODO: confirm scope]
  • Mutual connections [TODO: confirm if supported]
All LinkedIn data appears as citations in your brief, linking back to the original profile.

Why it matters

LinkedIn is often the fastest way to know who you’re meeting. By the time you open a Dana brief, you’ll already have the context that would normally require opening five LinkedIn tabs.
